Hi, I'm Erin!
My work brings together education, cognitive diversity, learning design, creativity, and lived experience.
I've spent much of my career thinking about how people learn, communicate, create, and navigate systems, and how those systems can either support people or create unnecessary friction.
My own lived experience has also shaped how I approach this work.
How I work
I don't believe there is one right way to learn, parent, work, communicate, or organize your life.Â
My approach is practical, collaborative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I bring curiosity to the things that aren't working and look for ways to create more understanding, flexibility, and choice.
I'm not interested in giving you a list of things you should be doing. I'm interested in helping you understand yourself or the people you support better, and figuring out what might work next.
My background
My background includes:
Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a focus on cognitive diversity in education
Graduate-level study in twice-exceptional education
Education and experience in learning experience design
More than 20 years of experience in creative, media, educational, and learning environments
Work supporting parents, educators, and neurodivergent individuals through coaching, workshops, learning resources, and consulting
Why this work matters to me
I believe good support starts with curiosity not judgment.
Oftentimes the most helpful thing is reframing the problem, looking at a situation from a different angle and questioning the assumptions we've made. From there, we can look at what might make things easier, more sustainable, or more manageable.
We don't need to fix ourselves before we can enjoy our lives.
We deserve support, understanding, connection, and the freedom to build a life that works for us.
