Starting tasks. Staying focused. Following directions. Turning work in on time.
That all takes executive function skills.

Most students are expected to “just know” how to do these things. But EF skills need to be taught, modeled, and supported. This is especially true for neurodivergent and 2e learners. Without that support, you see:

  • Missing work and “careless” mistakes

  • Big reactions to transitions and changes

  • Kids labeled “lazy” or “unmotivated”

  • Teachers quietly burning out

This course helps you proactively build executive function support into what you’re already doing.

Why Executive Function
Matters So Much at School

A Simple Framework You Can Actually Use

Look at executive function through the “Big 3” core skills and learn to support executive function through our four simple, repeatable core practices:

  • Environment
Shape what students see, hear, and touch so your spaces guide them instead of overwhelming them.

  • Routines & Systems
Create predictable steps that reduce decision fatigue and build executive functioning practice into every day.

  • Teaching the “Why”
Explain why and how behind each strategy to help students’ understand how it helps their brain.

  • Personalization & Choice
Adapt supports for diverse and neurodivergent learners instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

This Course Is For You If…

  • You see executive function struggles every day and want tools that actually help.

  • You support diverse and neurodivergent learners and want to honour their brains.

  • You want realistic strategies that fit into what you already do, not one more program.

EF Support That Fits Into What You Already Do

You don’t need more charts, more paperwork, or more late nights rewriting lessons. You need simple ways to weave executive function into what you’re already doing so students get more support without you burning out.

We built this course to be doable, engaging, and flexible, especially for tired brains.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • More than 25 short lessons with reflection prompts and classroom examples

  • Bite sized content you can fit into real school days, not a 90-minute talking head lesson to suffer through

  • Animations, videos, and interactive elements that make the content easier to understand and apply

  • UDL-aligned design with multiple ways to engage and reflect, so it suits diverse and neurodivergent learners

  • Opportunities to personalize. You’re encouraged to adapt strategies to your students and your context

  • Space to follow your interests and dive deeper into what matters most to your classroom

You can move through the course in order or jump straight to the pieces you need right now. You will leave with concrete steps, not just theory.
